Coarse or Thick equal to or greater than 60% is the name according to the new ISO 16890 filter standard, previously classified as G4.

It allows for a great capacity of retention of suspended dust, pollen, spores, and mold.

Filter efficiency against:

Viruses: 0
Bacteria: up to 20%
Fine particles: up to 40%
Spores/Mold: up to 80%
Pollen: up to 90%

 

For greater filtration, you have access to F7 filters (high filtration).
